Team High Lifter-Polaris RacingBattles Adversity in Mississippi Shreveport, September 3, 2008 – The Members of Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing were not about to let the threat of hurricane Gustav keep them from racing as they made their way to the ATV Mudfest in Perkinston, Mississippi, just outside of Gulfport, for the Labor Day mud event. In its fifth year of hosting mudbogs, Red Creek Off Road Park had an average attendance of 3,000+ ATV enthusiasts. The event offered three days filled with ATV Barrel Races, Wheelie Contests, High Lifter Pro Series Racing Mud Bog Competitions and excellent ATV trail riding. In the Bogger Class, team racer #8 Maggie Robertson finished in first place on her Polaris Sportsman 500. Making his racing debut as a member of Team High Lifter – Polaris Racing, #10, Blake Mann, finished in first place in the Pro Series “A” Class on his Polaris Sportsman 800. Team High Lifter – Polaris Racer #98 Alicia Gorman placed second in the Women’s Class while her husband, and recent addition to the team, #9 Josh Gorman placed second in the RUV Class in his Polaris Ranger RZR with team mate JW Otwell along for the ride in the passenger seat. Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing will keep the winning streak going as they prepare for the final races of the season and look toward the coming new year. Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing’s Domination Continues at Quadfest 2008 Shreveport, July 22, 2008 – Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing continues to shine, as they dominated the mud events at Quadfest 2008, held in Central City, PA. In its fourth year, Quadfest is the largest ATV event of its kind in that region, with an attendance this year of over 6,000 ATV enthusiasts. Quadfest offers three days filled with ATV Drag Races, Wheelie Contests, Mud Competitions, Nightly Entertainment and outstanding ATV trail riding. In the two wheel drive class, team racer Alicia Gorman finished in first place on her Polaris Sportsman 800, while team mate J.W. Otwell came in second on his Polaris Sportsman 800. In the 600 cc – 800 cc Class, Alicia Gorman finished again in first place on her Sportsman 800 with team mate Brian Robertson finishing less than two seconds later, for second place on his Sportsman 800. In the “Open” class, Team High Lifter-Polaris swept the podium for first, second and third place with Maggie Robertson coming in first on her Polaris Sportsman 800, Alicia Gorman in second on her Polaris Sportsman 800 and Scott Smith in third on his Polaris Sportsman 800. The ladies, Maggie Robertson and Alicia Gorman, had a very successful day, as they also came in first and second in the Woman’s Class on Sportsman 800s. Team racer Trey Thomas took First in the UTV class on his Polaris Ranger RZR in 44.03 seconds. Team High Lifter-Polaris Racing will keep the winning streak going and add more trophies to their collection on July 26th, 2008 in McKinney, Texas at the Texas Mudfest.
