Shreveport, June 18, 2008 – On behalf of High Lifter Products, Inc. owner Scott Smith accepted the award for Small Business of the Year presented by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and The Forum News. This award honors the achievements, sustainability, productivity and contributions to the community of area businesses. The entrepreneurial skills of Scott Smith, along with an outstanding support staff of employees have made High Lifter Products one of the leading ATV aftermarket business in the nation.

Since founding High Lifter in a back yard shop in 1996, Scott has grown it into a company doing eight figure annual sales, with dealers in locations as remote as Russia, Spain, Finland, Australia, as well as several thousand dealers across North America. High Lifter operates from a 28,000 square foot building located in Shreveport, Louisiana, which includes a showroom, warehouse, performance shop, and executive offices. As High Lifter continues to grow, its future is very bright. Almost 600 acres of land has been purchased and construction is near completion on an ATV riding park in the Shreveport area that will open to the public in the Summer of 2008. Plans for ATV racing that will attract thousands of spectators and competitors from across the nation have been set into motion.
