My rzr has 13 1/2" f/r.  That's with a 2" RD lift, HL springs and 27" XTR's.

Brian haven't done any measuring but you can tell how much taller this one is compared to the Roly Poly Red RZR

Can't find my pics but I have just under 16" front and rear.  My sig does not include the HL springs and 1" spring spacer on rear.
Without a lift and just the larger tires you have 16" gc?  That's pretty good.   Where are you measuring?

well ive got the 28" ****s on it now and they aren't any taller than my 26" bighorns!! What a joke.
the fronts are slightly taller because they are really rounded and ride like crap.

im measuring in the rear by the little hitch and in the front under the skid plate that has the 6 big holes in it.

i'll get a pic of it today for ya'll. I'm about to leave to go to Gator Run and test it out

i wouldnt put a lift on the S

the shocks on it have so much travel that they droop down to where the axles are pretty much at their limit from binding up coming off the showroom floor.

if you add any lift, like a shock bracket, with the stock axles, it will bind up all 4 of the axles whenever the tires travel down into a hole of what not because the shock is still gonna travel the same and your just adding to the angle of the axles

so basically what you wanna do is just screw the springs down on the shocks, and that is all the lift your gonna get with those axles.

It would take a lack of brain cells to lift a machine that has a high dollar long travel suspension already on it.

O.K. My 2 cents, I have a 2009 Razr S I have had it for about 3 weeks now. I adjusted the pre load to about 3/4 the way down to give myself 17 inches of ground clearance the first week I had it. After 2 weeks it had setteled to about 13 and a half inches of ground clearance. I put 28 inch tires on the stock rims and it took it back up to about 15 and 3/4 inches of ground clearance. I measured it today and its at 13 inches exactly. I am thinking either I have 4 bad fox podium shocks and 4 very weak springs or the springs arent designed to be exteded all the way up and left in that position, I have reviewed the DVD that comes with the machine and it says to raise them with heavy loads then readjust them to stock afterwards. I think leaving them adjusted up weakens the springs and causes the UTV to settle. Im looking into a lift but I am also very concerned with travel in holes and jumps causing axles to pull out of the splines and or comming apart. Anyone else adjust thiers up and it settle? Other Opinions please?

yea thats going to be the problem. the axles are gonna bind.

i got mine jacked up and havent noteiced any settle yet, but its only been about a week.

springs are gonna sag after a while when you put extra load on them, hopefully they'll stop quickly

Yea', I was a chicken and went ahead and bought a regular RZR
because of concerns with the settleing springs on the "S".
I'll just take my chances with a 6" catvos later on.

I have a 2008 RZR , I have 17 1/2 inches GC in the front and 16 Inches in the rear.  Stock shocks turned all the way up, 3" Lift, and 30" Mudzilla's.  Plenty for now.

yup, made a huge difference. I may still go back to 30" S-Backs Maybe Laws. But right now the Mudzilla's are doing very good.
