i was putting dielectric grease on everything today and when i was doing the ones on the back of the back like around the taillight there was 2 sets of wires the had 2 prong connectores, i thought they might plug into each other and came unplugged but they r to short to reach each other to plug in so does anyone know what thease wires do.  07 650i

They are accessory wires. You can plug whatever you want to into them, ie, back up lights. It is just a hot and a ground. They were designed for the winch contactor if my mind serves me right.

Yeah one set is for a factory backup light (I dont recomend putting a 50 watt light or so to them but you can hook it up through a relayed system for itlike I did) and the other is an accessory plug.
