it will go into 4x4 no prob, it just stopped doing it at any speed, now you have to almost let the wheels stop turning for it to engage, it will not just kick in at any speed like it use to.  Any ideas on what i could do to help this.  no flashing or anything just have to almost stop.

my 05 p700 wont click in unless im moving around 5mph. if i stop and switch it in, it wont click in untill i start moving, over time things start to wear in and the actuators get worn in and the res. goes up witch changes the speed of things. nothing to worry about yet. worrie when it dont click over over to 4wd and there no flashing on the dash.

I never stop... just flip the switch when i see that i need it and when i'm done un flip it... as long as the front and rear tires are turning at the same speeds you cannot hurt anything.

come to think of it that may of been my problem goat,  i was in some really deep water cleaning it off underneath and the rear wheels was spinning fast but front not at all due to wheelies in the water,  may be a safety feature.  it seemed to do fine on land

It will be hard for it to engage in 4wd in water if the front tires don't have a load... When it engages the front end it will throw the front tires foward which will in turn make it dis-engage and then try and re-engage and vice versa. They have to spin at the same speed so the collar can line up right in the front diff.
