i started the process of gutting my pipe yesterday, got the spark arrestor knocked loose but not taken out yet, when i got to looking at it from the last baffle back to the end of the muffler there was tons of sand all around the spark arrestor that i then knocked out of that fitting in the bottom and so on, then i started to take the sawzall and cut the end of the muffler pipe off and got about 1/2-3/4 of the way through then my blade got bent from being to short...before i go any further will bashing out all of the baffles and taking the spark arrestor out cause for a need in rejetting? or will it just cause me to loose the back pressure?

i read a couple things that said id loose all back pressure and that would cause to need to rejet, what if i just take the spark arrestor out of the end of the pipe? and weld on my exhaust snorkel, would that not cause me to have to rejet?

It would be like putting a hmf on it ,except its going to sound like ****,most likely you will have to rejet.

ANY TIME YOU CHANGE BACKPRESSURE YOU NEED TO REJET BUT KEEP IN MIND THE LESS BACKPRESSURS YOU HAVE THE LESS BOTTOM END YOU WILL HAVE BUT IT WILL HELP YOUR TOP END

SO YOU NEED TO DESIDE IF YOU BOTTOM END OR TOP END AND THEN REJET FROM THERE

IT WOULD BE BEST IF YOU PUT A AIR FILTER ( K&N, UNI, OR WHOEVER ) IF YOU HAVE NOT ALLREADY BECAUSE YOU GOT TO GET THE AIR IN THE MOTOR FRIST BEFORE IT CAN COME OUT
