Status: offline 		utility and penlad same pipe The penland tone changes some with the toque modifier thing it it but the are the same pipe.

to get more power you will have to do the pipe, re-jet and air filter just doing a pipe you wont see much if any gain

Status: offline 		oh I see in your sig that you plan on doing it all.. With my penland I do feel a little difference on the bottom end with the torque modifer in, with it out its the same as a utility

Status: online 		took the baffle out, and drilled a huge hole. one of my friends exhaust broke of the mount and left a 2 inch hole and u can hear that from a mile away. the sportsman has a whole right where the ehxaust meets the engine and it sounds loud to

Status: offline 		The "torque modifier" is simply adding more back pressure to the exhaust.  Back pressure=torque/bottom end.  If the fancy little straight tip end cap is the so called "torque modifier" I would save the money, buy the utility series and spend the extra $25 on the end cap and call it DONE!

Status: offline 		When I was 13 I could weld, even aluminum lol. Well ya, drilling a hole in your pipe isnt smart... If you want it to be loud just gut it out so its just straight pipe. It will just wear your bike out faster doing either of them.

Most likely modded it to fit. I have a straight pipe on my 400ex and its loud but its eating away my piston, and drilling a hole will do the same.
