looking for a ute quad cheap!

found a 2002 500 rubicon, not running. he says no spark so i figure it needs a cdi box? can buy it for $1300 but it has like 6000 miles on it.

also found an 01 400 kodiak that needs a baffle and clutch cleaned for $1400

i only have like a max of $2000 to spend. which would you buy?

will be 50% trail riding and 50% mudding. would like to ad a 27" tires if possible.
