ok my brute is running like a top, but when i hammer on it it blows a cloud of blackish bluish smoke until i get out of it , but when i ease in to it just normal riding it dosent do it, only when i gas on it....................anybody thanks

Check your oil level. Don't top it off because the oil will blow into the airbox and burn. I see you have snorkels. Did you relocate the crankcase vent?

Also, it could be that you are running a little rich because of the snorkels.

yea i had just cleaned my air box, and the crank vent is still runing to the airbox, and when i changed the oil i left it a little low for that reason, so you think it is running rich, that was my thought, but what can i do about it being a fi any adjustments i can make on the throttle body

i run the oil level in my 08 brute on the full line and havent had any problem with oil in my airbox.

sounds like either valve seals or piston rings.....have u ever drowned it?

When you snorkaled your bike did you use the 2" or the 3" rubber 90. It just sounds like you are running rich. My bike did that with the 2" 90 and stopped after I changed it out to the 3".

no i have the 3in 90, i think its just lean, my plugs are a smutty color, not light brown like it should,...........it has never been sunk or anything, and also i i think my stock pipe packing has gotten wet, making it look a little worse also

If your plugs are smutty(black) then your running rich. Too much fuel /not enough air.

if you got snorkels on it your more than likely not running lean. its rich id say the plugs are blackish arent they.

I just noticed in your sig you have a HMF Penland Pro listed. Do you have a fuel programmer on the brute? You may be too lean.....
