Status: offline 		Oh yea well im up north thats what we use all year plus you can just got out and buy the oil at your dealer or just go to a gas station or auto parts store and get some .

Status: offline 		10w40 Castrol GTX. Highly recommended by many. I've heard alot of bad stories about Royal Purple engine oil.
I did the first oil change with cat oil, then switched to castrol. Works great for me.

Status: offline 		what ever you run i think it should be a heavyer weight of oil then just 5w 30. i run 20w 50 or a 5w 40 weight most times 30w is alot lighter then AC recomends.

Status: offline 		I use Lucas 10w-40 semi-synthetic motorcycle oil for wet clutches. Works great and is available at O'reilly's Auto Parts for $6.50 a quart.

Note: If I didn't have an oil cooler, I would run the 20w-50 during the summer since it's so hot down here!

Status: offline 		Royal Purple Synthetic 10w40 is what I use in my H1. I would not hesitate at all to use the 5w30 even in desert heat conditions. Some of the Royal Purple Racing oils are even thinner than this and these are used in ultra-high horsepower nitrous and blown engines. The Synerlec technology used in all their oils creates a superior film strength that is second to no other oil, period. Synerlec is the most advanced formulation and reduces friction like no other oil, period. This why RP can claim to increase horseower and torque and reduce heat in virtually any engine no matter what you are using now.

i use Castrol GTX 10w40
