i've got a 1988 trx 300. new stator, left hand switch, ignit coil. nuetral & reverse switch check good, diodes good, batt. good. when i have the switch in the on position i get no spark, but when i put in the off position i get one spark then none. so i put it in the on position an get nothing, then put it back to off and get one spark then nothing. cleaned all elec. connections, the 2 fuses by the battery are good

Was the stator matched to the flywheel, they have 2 types Mitsuba and Denso also was the pulse generator (pickup coil) switched? Was the parts bad or were they replaced because of no fire? Problem could be wrong parts, wiring, or the CDI.
