I heard about a place on the Satilla river near waycross.  Open every weekend after 10:00.  $10 to get in.  Plenty of trails, bogging and sand pits.  Sounds like a fun place to ride.

A guy that I work with went Saturday.  He said it is at the Satilla river on US 1.  He also said it opens after 10:00 am during hunting season.  He wants me to go with him but I won't be able to go untill after the first of the year.

Yes, the big sand pit in peeble hill, on US 1 between Waycross and Alma is a great place to ride. There is 500 acres covering both sides of the Satilla River. It is $10.00 a day or $230.00 a year to join the club. It is a hunting club but hunting is limited to 5-10a.m.  Open every day. Lots of trails and some mean mud holes. Anyone wanting more info can pm me and I will let you know how to get in touch with the right man.

Yes, it is still open. In my opinion it is a very good place to ride. It is very family oriented, and has lots of terrain to ride. If I am correct it is now $240 a year or still $10 a day. I will try to get a current contact number ASAP.
