Status: online 		Where is the best place to get one(cheapest) for a 30gb iPod video??  You can't post HL competition on the forum, so just PM me. I've looked on ebay, but none are there for the one with video.

Status: offline 		the pelican case is cool and u can get it at academy for like 19 bucks. problem is u have to open the dang thing to operate ur ipod and mine usually is covered in mud and water and it gets inside when u open it. the otter box  imo is the best cause u can operate ur ipod and never open anything up or worry about it getting wet. it costs a little more but u can usual find them on ebay pretty cheap, ive got a classic ipod and the one for mine was like 36 bucks. and alot of seelers ive seen on there wont charge shipping. hope i helped somebody!

Status: online 		texasfirefighter, is your's the one with video?? I have seen alot of them for the classic 30 gb iPod, but they all say "Will not fit the video iPod". I really want an Otterbox for the same reason you mentioned about being able to operate it and it still be waterproof.

Status: offline 		no i have an 8o gb classic. i just looked on ebay and theres one on there for the ipod video thats 29.95 plus shipping, the seller is dnastock2004. there listed for the next four days. i just searched ipod video otterbox and it looked like the only one that came up. if thats what ur looking for u might wanna try it out.

Status: offline 		blue91wrangler I have the 30GB iPod along with the Otterbox for it, but I just looked on the otterbox website and I'm not sure why it now states that the case will not fit the model that we both have.

although they look similar the classic is a bit different to the video, and will not fit it the video case vice/versa

pelican or otterbox are good cases.

Are you serious? You posted two different replys to the same question in the same forum. You aren't going to impress anyone with those kinds of replys.


The pelican box is great but the only ones I have seen you have to open to change the song. The otterbox you can change while it is still closed. Fleabay is the cheapest place because of shipping. The otterbox website charges too much IMO.
