hey has anybody ever had there bike not charging and if so was it the regulator or the stator or does anyone know how i can figure out which one it mite be thanks

well usually if its the stator it wont run. cause it wont have  power for the coil.(which uses AC  current.

put a meter on it. charge the battery up first. it should measure around 12 volts acrross the battery

then crank it and remeasure acrros the battery and measure again. it should be around 13.6-14.5

I am having a problem also.. but i have a grizzly 660,p360onbugs if the battery has the same voltage when cranked as it does when not cranked what does that mean? stator or regulator

99 pecent of the time its the regulator/rectifier . the other 1 percent being a bad connection. i would check connections first. and then if that doesnt fix it. replace the rectifier. you might be able to find one on ebay for cheap.  never know

the problem on my grizz was the stator. i replaced my rectifier and still had the same problem. all my connections were clean.

really. then it was the connection on the stator that went to the rectifier.  sorry about that.  it must have broke the connection inside the stator that goes to t he rectifier.
