07 450 grizzly ok    had motor work done on it   it smokes alil only for a bout 30 seconds after it starts, then it stops some one toldme it was that they didnt redo the seals on the valves? how hard is it to check and fix

You'll need to take the valve cover and rocker arms off.  Then use something like a compression tester to hook to a air compressor and fill the cylinder up with a constant feed of air through the spark plug hole.  Then use and valve spring compressor to compress the valve springs and take the keepers out.  Remove the springs and pop the seals off with a screw driver and replace.

just pull the head, if you drop a valve which you most likely will do your gonna have to pull it anyway
its a cheap job but time consuming, ive never done a 450 but have the 660s, it would take me about 2 hours to get it done
remove valve cover, then rockers then cam, make sure not to drop the cam chain, then head
make sure and order a new head gasket as well

you need to inspect the bottom of the head to see if in fact you have a leaking valve seal
