i found an used can am the other day and wondering what yall think....

2006 can am Oulander MAX stock (owned my a old man that uses it to fill feaders) winch and thats about it. he is asking $3500....is that a good deal??

also i wanted to know if anyone has moded a MAX and if yall have pics i have never seen one lifted or with laws or anything, also how do they do on the trail since they are a little biger that a normal ATV...because if i buy it its not staying stock for long

If the machine is as you've described...I would buy it! $3500 for a 06 800 Max is a great deal. Trade in value for that machine in good condition is $4780.

thats a wicked deal. expessialy that an old man owned it so you know it wouldnt have been beat and be in good condition.

Could also mean neglected no fluid changes. How many hours and miles. Does he have maint records?

ya thats true i never thought about that, but if a 16 year old kid had one and a 60 year old man had one for sale for the same price what would you buy? its pretty ovious to me haha

. well most of the older people i know take care of their stuff,but i think its best to buy brand new so you know what its been threw and you get to break it in

it looks like is has never been beat on at all...225 miles and 36hrs... i found it on cycle trader....in corpus christi if anyone else is intersted, not sure if i really NEED it right now, but i think im going to go take a look at it and then decide then

I'd buy it, but yeah it seems like older people don't do a lot of maintance. My step dad had a Honda 300 he bought new in 1988, and then sold it in like 2003 still running. Out of those 15 years he never changed the oil, not even once lol!
