I bet you could buy a newer AC500m with IRS for what it is going to cost you to have that done.

Yeah but how BAD A!! would a custom IRS on a old school bearkat be?  I used to own a 98' 500 4x4, and think that'd be an awesome project.  One thing for sure, your not likely to pass one just like it on the trails!!

turner cycles does top notch work.. He hooked up the motor in my grizz, also i got the rear diff support frame kit from him and both of them or flawless. He is expensive, and sometimes he can be slow but it is well worth the wait.

i know the cost is going to be high, but i've had this bike since 96. kind of hard to let go, its been great so far. i was thinking old school with some custom parts and new plastics would be sweet!

Actually there are a few big Bearcats and older ACs running around.  I believe Live2Ride had one, maybe he can chip in.

I've seen some bad A lifted old schools but I believe they were the oldest IRS models.  I'd love to see a lifted bearcat!!!  I'll have to do some searchin and see what I can find.

the closest thing i can think of to an old school lifted cat would be the Yasky Kingquad, which used to be SRA.
