you must take the snap ring off. the you have to have a spindle nut socket. there is a silver nut thing thats up in there a lil ways. its around 2" accross and it has 4 notches in it.... thats where the spindle nut socket comes in. can am makes the socket but getting one is another story. oreilys has a spindle nut socket that with a slight bit of grinding will fit in the swingarm

NO NO i dont think he is that far yet. He is talking about the aluminum piece with the 2 tabes. They have a ton of locktite on them. Heat them up a little and then you might have to put one of the nuts back on and hit it with a hammer. If you do this you might screw up the thread on the sway bar (I did this) or you might damage the nuts when you hit them (Did this as well).

You have to pull the sleeve out by prying behind the ears. Heating it makes the job easier. After you get the sleeve out, you will need the special socket.

Best way to beat the sway bar out is to either use a piece of wood or a pointed punch so you dont screw up the threads or the nuts. Make sure you have the outer boots off both sides. When you beat the sway bar on one side it will come out of the other side (Obviously).
