Anyone ever installed a trailer light plug on the ATV? I am building a custom atv trailer and would like to be able to use the lights when its hooked to the ATV at night.

Are you talking about just running lights or brake lights and everything? If you just want running lights i would think you could take a wiring harness you would normally use to wire a car for a trailer and connect all the wires except the white ground wire to the positive side of you battery and the white wire to the negative side, then connect the plug on the other end of the wire to the wiring harness on the trailer. I have never tried this so i don't know if it will work, but you could give it a try. And for the brake lights, i have no idea.

It would be pretty simple to do, just tie into the tail light / brake light wiring and a ground and good to go.

I was gonna try and wire it up to have tail/brake lights and thats pretty much it. Should be easy. Just curious if anyone else had done it.
