hey guys i fixed my sld up the weekend and rode about 20 miles  and got in some good mud, no slipping sld equal busted bevels and shaft :(

You have a TC..?   how come nothing in your sig about it..?


Oh back to the topic, i can see that happening that is why AC put the SLD on it to keep the bevel gears safe and when its welded up you are taking a chance for sure.. sorry to hear that.

Ive never seen a buste bevel gear in a t-cat. You must have dogged the heII out of that thing. I have seen another gear in tranny chip a tooth though.

Thought Tucker broke a bevel gear on one..?  would of swore i heard that.

and i know of one other guy that broke one but was in some super thick mud when it did it.

doggin in reverse is the worst for bevel gears, both bevel gear failures I have had rooted from lugging in reverse shortly before they explode.

Yeah he's rockin' a T-Cat now GWC! He came to work with us at the dealership and had to trade the ole' Rancher in for the big boy.
You need to change that sig around for sure!

my friend busted the bevel gears and the sld is not welded up . if running 29.5 laws on tc and got heavy thumb its going hull the bevel gears with no problem

no kidden. then what dam good is the SLD if it does not stop a bevel gear failure   what gears did he have in it..???  3.1s or 3.6s, 4.os..?

I have my SLD removed. Pulling the sled two Saturdays ago I completly shelled the rearend and my bevelgear held up knock on wood. Sorry to hear that yours let go.
