So i fried my warn 3.0, and i was looking at the viper max 4000 lb winches ... you can get em for like 200 with a snatch block and all .. Has any1 had any experience with these winches , or should i just spend the money and go with the warn 4.0 ????

I have got the vipermax 4500 and love it so far. I went riding a couple weeks ago and got stuck in some bad stuff on purpose just to use the winch. And it worked very well. I was in a bottomless pit full of peanut butter. When I got out to hook up I sank to my waist (and im 6'3"). Had along pull all of my synthetic rope was out. When i got to the other side there was a pile of mud in front of the rhino as tall as the hood it just pulled it right threw with the bumper pushing all that mud. IMO it is a great buy.

i bought one and never got to use it.. it somehow shorted out and burned the motor up, i think it was the rocker switch that went bad,, anyways, i sent it back and warranty covered it... i have heard good things form them... i paid 191.00 shipped off ebay for the 4000# and a snatchblock.,., cant beat that

I have a venom and I love it. Go for the Venom it is cheaper. I have the 4000 on my rhino and it is perfect.

I have the viper max 4k on my rhino... works really well and great service too... the interior parts are interchangeable with the warn

I have the 4k viper as well,no problems and pulls strong.
