Think Stoney is Red Dirt (Oklahoma), but a great artist either way. Cross Canadian Ragweed is Red Dirt also, but a great band.

Try searching red dirt music, this is your newer younger singers. Dont get me wrong I love the classics but your oklahoma singers dont like to class music as Texas country.

Spent some time with these guys this week.
Stoney and his Brother (Bo Phillips) are both great guys.
No Justice I am a little biased towards since I did the lighting for their Live at Billy Bob's Album.
Jason Boland is a mold breaker along with his whole Band.
Mike McClure is an amazing artist in his own right.
Dierks Bently Also Played in Stillwater this weekend and rocked out the show.
