i'm going to be moving into a private community where i can ride my atv on the roads, so i'm getting some 14" rims so i can run normal car or truck tires on it so i don't tear up my outlaws.  so far the tallest tire i've found for a 14" rim are the super swamper 28's.  does anyone know of a 29 or 30" tall tire that would fit on a 14" rim?  or even a street tire that is close to 28" tall?

Street tires are too heavy for an atv.  Get some atv street tires.

BFGs allterains can be had in that size for 14" rims. just remeber they are heavy so doing crazy stuff with them on there will up the chance on breaking somthing

and those BFGs would last forever on a atv as light as atvs are. and they are some of the best tires for snow made IMOP.

yeah, for riding on the street   why would i want to tear up my mudding tires?  i also have an old airplane runway that is no longer used that i can drag race on

cool, i didn't know BFG's where available in a 14" rim.  i've run them on my truck before and loved them.  weight isn't a big concern for me since i won't be drag racing with them on, i won't be riding in the mud, they'll just be for putting around the community on my ATV instead of getting a golf cart

Well dang I'd sell the laws in a heart beat and just run the swampers all the time lol. Get the 15" Vision wheels and run some Boggers!

not a chance, i love my laws   i'll have to give vision a call.  they list 4x136, so i'm guessing they'll work for 4x137?

Idk what bolt patterns they come in I just know they make a 15" wheel now. I still say boggers would be cool  33x14.00

if i get some 15" rims, i'd definitely go over 30" tall for riding around the community   they definitely wouldn't be for playing in the mud or hauling butt, so there wouldn't be too much stress on the tranny.

those are probably the ones i'm gonna go with   i figure 28's will be good enough to start with.  i may even take them out where i ride with my laws and see how they do

yeah, i've seen quite a few.  i'd already have car rims on my outy if the bolt pattern was a standard bolt pattern.

Adapter- They adapt one bolt patten to another, like say I want to put outty rims on my brute, well they change the it from 4x110 (brute) to 4x137 (outty or kawi sra)! You can contact someone on it to have them made to your specification , it can be atv to car.

Cant really say because there different from place to place, but ill guess at $100-$250, I paid $100 for four 1.5" spacers on ebay and I want to say they had some adapters on there, go take a look, If you know what bolt pattern you need just contact one of them on there and they might get you fixed up!!!

yeah, adapters will change the bolt pattern and bump the wheels out further to give more clearance behind the wheels.  i'm probably just going to pick up a set of adapters so i can get some 15" car rims.

you may get lucky, check around for old geo patterns, and other little death trap cars like that.  there was alot of 4 bolt cars out there. one of them may have the right bolt pattern.

Just an FYI-be prepared for it to steer much harder with the street tires.  You will be getting much more traction on the pavement than with an ATV mud tire, so be prepared for the steering to be tougher as you fight the forces of the spooled rear end.
I have a Jeep with a spooled rear and I can tell a HUGE difference in steering effort between my 33" bias TSL's and my 31" radial AT's because the AT's grip the road much more than the tread flexing TSL's.

Need to be able to unlock the rear like the Polaris ATP and old Bayou's.

the 12" wide laws steer pretty hard as is, so i expect to build up my forearms with big street tires
