a freind of mine put in speedwerx cams and the boondocker fuel controller exhaust and clutch kit on his 08 t-cat. all parts came from speedwerx. it runs alittle ruff at idel but seems very strong the rest of the time. raced it against another t-cat that has just a clutch kit and the stock one is even if not a little faster.

does anyone know of a meter that is relativly inexpensive to set the fuel controller right?

Is it possible that it is making the 20 hp over stock but it isnt making it to the ground ie clutching?

any help thanks

The 20 hp claim was with exhaust, intake, and maybe pistons too (not sure on pistons). Does he have a pipe and anything for extra intake? You got to get the air to the cams with intake and exhausting for them to work and of course the fuel has to be tuned right, and then there's the clutching which is the most important when tuning for dragging. Lots of variables here.... Can you be more specific in his set up and what kind of clutching he has done?

Side note: cams increase top end and decrease low end, so the clutching has to compensate for this.

yep! Alot more goes into going fast than the purchase of the initial mods. What is he running for intake and exhaust?
