Well, the sway bar on my 500 is wore out. It's like it isn't even on there. For fast trail riding i wouldn't take it off, mine will almost roll over. I can go through a curve and the front wheel lifts up about 4-8 inches off the ground. Then if u try to drift the rear end around it tries to roll over quick. If i knew i was going to ride slow in rutted out, mud, or off camber stuff all the time it might help a little by removing it. The suspension will flex a little more with it removed. With the bar removed i wouldn't go fast around a curve. Get ready to lean to one side if u do. Just take it off and test it, if u don't like it put it back on.
