Wakeman, Is the inner joint intact?? Stary by spraying it with a good penetrating oil and letting it soak overnight. I have been able to drive them out with "ball joint fork" if they aint stuck bad. Others I have welded a link of chain to the outed cup of the joint and then jerket the snot out of it with a slide hammer. While you have that joint out I would tear down the other side too while you can drive the joint straight out and the use lots of anti seize and or marine grease when you put it back together.
