whenever i put my eiger in 4x4 i get a squeek any ideas

perhaps you have a torn cv joint and one of them is starting to go... or your front driveshaft u-joints r going so when you have it in 4x4 extra torque will make the u-joint squeak. You say its only in 4x4, these would probably be the main causes...

is it a squeak or a clicking sound? if it is clicking you have a torn cv-boot and one of the joints is going if it sqeaking lube all of the moving parts and inspect it to see if u can find anything.

don't your cv's turn all the time. if it was that it would do it all the time.
