Any truth to the idea that spacers cause stress or wear to the bike as opposed to offset wheels.

got some 27s coming for the stock rims & not sure if I am going to need spacers

Wheel bearing wear maybe.But a wider offset rim I guess can do the same.

No wear difference between the spacers and aftermarket wheels.
