I just bought a 2006 honda foreman 500 4x4 es. I got 27" mst's and 12" itp 112
on the way. Looks like I will need the 2" lift to keep from scrubbing, so iI bought extreme 2" lift. will I need SPACERS and if so can I just use them on the front and not the back. really dont want to find out if axle will slip out would rather take precaution now, also are spacers recommended? Pros and Cons, help.
Thanks in advance.         oh the wheels are 5+2 frt  2+5 back

My buddy runs 28" Gators w/o a lift or spacers.  You can run spacers in the front with no problems.

Did you consider a fender kit? That should be all you need to clear the fronts with out having to put spacers or a lift.

Shouldn't need anything to clear 27"s. Maybe some slight fender trimming (doubt it) and bending the fender braces. Spacers and a 2" lift are deffinitely not needed, unless you just really want them. Axle slip out? What are you talking about? I've never heard of it.

thanks to all, I got my stuff in and it works fine w/o spacers. Local honda shop guy had me all screwed up. just did the work myself and saved a couple hundred bucks. did not even need the lift but I like the feel so will leave it on.
