whats the best way to keep the heat from the engine off the pipes. I have a dual 2in and it seems like it gets very warm.  I'd like to switch to dual 2" ABS. Any thoughts?

What is your snorkel made of and how do you have it set up?  If you can fill us in we will help with it.  You can buy heat wrap that is an adhesive tape made to keep heat off of a pipe.

Sounds like just spa hose type material? That is what I have.  I don't have any problems with it getting too hot.  If you are having a problem with it, you can buy some tape type stuff, usually referred to as a form of heat wrap.  It will keep heat off of the pipe when you wrap it up.
