i was wanting to snorkel my exhaust. i am wanting to add a pipe to it with out having to weld it. how can i do this?
i want to cut slices in the pipe, the one im adding, and slip it over with a clamp to secure it. but that would leak. is there anything that i can add  to go between the exhaust and the snorkel pipe to seal it?

thanks.

Not really bud, the only thing I have seen guys do is buy a second end cap and weld the snorkel to it and swap them when needed. I welded mine on and love it. It has saved me from the water more times than I can count.

boss exhaust makes one, it has some kind of a rubber fitting to seal it and you could have it made to your specs, dont know if they still make em though.

alright i got a 3 bolt car exhaust flange and i weleded a car exhaust tip into the flange bolted the flange to the exhaust with high temp rtv sealing the tip to the muffler then bent some tubing so that the exhaust snorkel would fit over the tip and clamped it..

(and no the tires are not different sizes its just the camera angle)

Get a washer like 3 or 4 inches and weld the snorkle on it. Then take three or four self tapping screws to secure it. Just don't forget some high temp silicone. Then when you take if off just unscrew it.

This also fits perfectly in a hmf exhaust to. Without the end cap on.

I just went to the scrap yard and got some sheet metal, and cut it out to the stock endcap, then welded a snorkle to it. Free and easy, and completly water proof I love it.

Then you can do this and not worry about anything, I love my exhaust snorkle.
