does it matter if the carb air hose breather is too small?

My Grizz has two vents one on each side of the carb.

you will have a carb vent line that is on the side of the carb.  It is usually 3/8 I think. but anyway that is the problem just run it up with the snorks and problem solved

you own a honda, it is the drain line hanging off the bottom of the carb, nothing more. if you own a honda you had, have, or will have this problem. Either get a second one way valve and run it in line with the factory valve or plug the line before you play in the water, the rear driveshaft boot clamp bolt works good for a plug. just be sure to unplug it when you arent in the water or you COULD fill your airbox with gas... heck it can happen while in the water too so the best bet is just get a second valve then you wont have to worry about it.

you should be able to get one from the parts store of your choice, bring in a small piece of the line to be sure you get the right size. tell them you need a oneway check valve, maybe 5bucks. Also heard the popo ones work real good if you dont mind cross-breeding your honda lol.

just be sure to put it on the right way.

You gotta run vent lines. there is 2 from the carb and one in the rear diff and one in the front diff. its really cheap and easy. just run them to your handlebars.  and if you want to test the seal on your snorkel just put your hand over it and if it shuts off right away ur good.
