as of about 20 min ago i made one of the biggest EDIT in my life. I just let a monster 10 point slip away all because i didnt have a bullet in my chamber. i was beein safe an moved it to my magizine cause i was walkin out and there he was! he ran out right in front of me and stood perfectly broad side not 30 yards and i put it right on him an of couse there was nothin but a click. i know many of you have felt somethin like this and i guess im just need some support, but any man can shut himself in his room for hours whinning over a buck of a life time

dang right i will! ha ima miss 2 periods in the mornin goin after him. not many 18 year olds around here get a chance to see a trophy like that

When I was about 11 or 12, I wanted to go hunting but my dad didn't feel well. He told me just go walk the fence rows on the property and see what you see.

I was walking the fence just up the hill from a small creek and there was a cedar tree overhanging the fence. I walked around the cedar about the same time a HUGE buck jumped the fence about twenty yards from me. I don't know who it scared worse him or me. Needless to see he lived that day.

Sorry bout that! But there is NO reason to be upset if you are trying to be safe! Bucks will come and go, but man at least youre alive to tell the story. Just think if the bullet was in the chamber and you fell or got the rifle hung up on something. The story would be alot different. I know a few guys who chamber a bullet and rely on the guns safety. No not me, it doesnt take a split second to place a round in battery. Hey man you'll get your chance sooner than you think.

yea but you cant fire to many shots inside of city limits. i used to live right outside the limits an bout 3 years ago they streched them out but i dont care if they fine me cause he is a big one
