What do yall use to seal the airbox lid? I used some junk I found around the house that didn't hold up. I picked up some form-a-gasket that stays soft but haven't put it back together yet........ any ideas

That might work,  I have always used a thick grease to seal mine.  never had it leak and it's easy to get off when you need to clean the filter.

I seal all the joints except the lid with a black silicone. i.e. where the intake tubes enter and leave the box... but use thick red axle grease to seal the lid with a good factory seal..... i put it on the inside of the box on the seal on the lid and then around the outside of the box after I put the lid on.... so far i haven't had ANY water enter in that form or fashion, where as my buddy tired the silicone method.. he kept getting water in and had a hard time getting the lid back off at a later date

We use good ol' marine grease and have had no leaks. Easy to clean up as well and cheap.
