I posted this in tire talk , but i wanted to see if i could get some feedback from guys who own rincons and not the general population....i wanted to know how well it would turn 28 laws , i do have a pipe so a minor mod its a penland hmf with the torque modifier that does give it a little more bottom end...i ride trails of course but a lot of water and mud , the mud is usually not the swamp peanut butter just the sloppy wet junk..i think the ruts are more of a problem in getting stuck than anything else...i can get a set of 26's or 28's today for a decent price...whatchall thinking...?

I don't think you will have a problem.  I personal do not have a rincon but I have a rancher and i'm running 27's without a problem. Hope this helps you out

My Rincon struggles a little bit with the 27s, but if you plan on doing a few more mods then you should be fine!

I run 27-12's on all four and it turns them pretty good. I am thinking about the gear reduction and 28 skinny's though! Maybe Laws or Backs.
Turners is about 20 minutes from my house, so i have to find out how much, and probably get them to do the work.

With a pipe, air filter and jet kit, you wont have any troubles with 28" Outlaws.

I say go straight for the GR especially since its a 03.

then you can surprise many other riders while having a quiet stock appearing quad.  (no pipe/jet required)

Well he aleady has the pipe. I say get you a uni filter and get it jetted correctly and she should handle it fine. What size laws are you planning on getting? I have ran 28x9.5s on mine and loved them with the gc and the grip they had. I also ran 26x12 on all corners and they paddled and floated great. So if you only ride mostly soupy thin runny mus you would be fine with skinny 28s

i would personally run the 26,s.and sling them in anything, than a 28 that will cause more bogging and eventually more carnage.

And what difference does that make? The 03-05 Rincons turned 28" Outlaws with the said combo before gear reductions came out, why should they need one now? I'm not saying it wont help, but its not required.

The one i used to ride with would not spin 28 mudzillas for nothing, 03 650 with HMF snorkel and a dyno jet kit.
you could drop the quad off in just about any type of mud and it would bog down and if it was even close to being thick that was the it. Mudzillas will spin easyer then a Outlaw will in thick mud as well.

I would stick with 27s unless your getting the gear reduction sometime soon.
