It works awsome. Great for when you need to back up really quick in a hole. I made mine and had it on since last summer and not any problems.

I made my own... I pushed the button in pulled the lever and stuck a nut in there to act as a spacer to keep the lever pulled at all times, but brakes still work as they should. Now I just shift right to rev. no button or lever to pull.

i did mine a little different use a zip tie or another person to hold the brake with reverse button down back and hold it. trace the cable to where the lever is on the back of the engine and put a ziptie around the lever and something solid that way the lever is always engaged and you dont need any spacers on your brake lever. used this for a year on my recon and worked great

Pull the black rubber cover on the lever back and enguage reverse while looking at the mechanism.... youll see where it goes. If you want to have to pull the lever you can either ziptie the red button down or pull it out and put a bolt or something in its place. I just find it so nice not to have to pull anything. You will not be able to get to rev. while downshifting fast so dont worry about that. You need to be just about stopped to get to N let alone R.

Why don't you just tighten the cable up to where the lever stays pulled? Seems like it'd be a lot easier! That's how I had my 300 done!

Mines done with the nut at the handle.  No problems in the 6 months mines been in there, and my cable hasn't stretched either.
