They will fit. Depending on the rim you may have to grind the "spacers" off the hubs.

Some of the ITP wheels will fit the 08's.  I got a set of ITP SS212's and they fit perfect, didn't have to grind anything.

Man it really isn't that big of a deal to grind down the tabs on the hubs. It sounds worse than it is.

Ya I just knocked out the studs and took a saw saw and cut the tabs off. Then took a grinder and hit them a little to knock them down. Takes longer to take it apart and put it back together than to remove the tabs.

what i dont understand is why they (kawasaki) changed them.  all they really did was drive the cost up more.  can anyone explain a good reason for this "tab"?

You can do a search on it and get a better explanation, but it has something to do with the way the stock wheels on a brute center up. On aftermarket wheels, the lugs take care of this, but on the stock ones the tabs do that. Do a search, I read up on it before I did it as well.

Well the 08 lug nuts are flat nuts. more than likely on the earlier ones they used tapared lug nuts that center the wheel. acorn nuts.   with the flat nuts used on the 08 something has to keep the wheel centered. shave them tabs off and you won't be able to put the stock wheels back on "correctly" .

Ya the stockers probably wouldn't want to be run at high speeds, but if you just needed to put them back on to take to the dealer or something like that it would fine. But once I put on the laws, the first thing I did was sale the stockers, so I won't have to worry with this.

I used HL 1" spacers on the rear,  and bolted the stock wheel back on and didnt have any problems with it not being centered.
