ok guys i have tried looking but came up with nouthin.here we go i have been tryin to fix my 4 wheeler for a while now every time i get in the water it shuts off.at first i thought maybe got crap in the carb so i clean it out really good didt fix it.yes check valve is plugged.well i got to ride it this past weekend and i found that i can just push it into the water and right when the the motor gets maybe up to a inch in water it shuts off.oh yea and when im doin this im holdin the carb line so i know its not that.so now i know its eletrical so what wires right there that go into the motor?  oh yea all plugs have dieletric grease and i have looked at the wires and see no rubbed threw marks.  any help very welcomed

Thanks werid because only a 1'' high up the motor that a ways away from the plug so that couldn't be the proublem with it gettign wet. whats the carb drain line plugged with??

Have you tried the "ol water hose on every little piece of it approach". If you know at what level it's happening it should be even easier to find.

Well if the bolt fits tight into the line the water should stay out. hmmm well i dono i yes went out and cheaked my bike theres not very many connections that low so i dono about eletrical but you never no ive never had this happen to me ive had it shut off it deep water but that was the plug i need more delectrical again.

yea that what sucks i tried the water hose and cant get it to act up.aint that the oil temp at the bottom? i also see two wires that go into the motor.

If thats the case I say make darn sure that bolt you have is plugging the drain line is doing it's job. It also could be that the drain line and/or wires that are at that level are not rotten or deteriorated.    Just let me make sure of this--- I will happen just by gently rolling it into water about an inch of the motor?

Man this is wierd,like someone else said there just isnt much at that level to cause this.  HMMM  I guess I'm of no help please let me know what you find out.

tyr getting a cheap kiddy pool, put the bike in the pool and fill it up they crank it up. the dollar store might be able to help you
