well i was at the dealer today picking up my new quad and the dealer was telling me in the spring that polaris is going to release an oil that in universal to work in the rear dif's and the front difs. also works for the adc. it will be real nice when it comes out because i hate having 5 different bottles of oil sitting around. something for every place. also i see that the new quads are taking to new polaris 2w50 oil.

That would be great for those how have to change the front and rear diff. On my 08' 500 HO, there is only the front diff, and the chaincase lube for the CVT/rear diff.

More importantly... what's your new ride?

EDIT: Sorry, I see in another thread that you got an 800... congrats!

I wonder if they are going to a different AWD system then?  Regular gear oil is to thick for the front components of the AWD system. Hmmmmmmm......

Just checked the 09 rzr owners manual, and it uses the same as my 08 800 ho sportsman did which was PS-4 which is listed as 0w-40w, the predator used a different oil from the rest, maybe that was 2-50.

PS-4 and PS-4 Plus are different oils.Every four stroke polaris now uses PS-4 Plus which is 2w50.
