my pod light has been out for some time now so today I checked the bulb filiments are good fuses are all good. I noticed 3 pigtails tucked under the pod with 2 more wires with ends that looked to be broken.
what are the pigtails for 2female  1 male?
I assume the broken wires are for my headlight. I guess the wires were tight and got pulled while turning the bars sometime.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe those are the factory wire for a winch rocker switch

i got around to fixing my pod light the wires were pulled out from the back of the bulb also i found the wire for the brake light for the front lever was broken. There are several places under the pod where the wire harness rubs on the metal frame for the light the protective casing was cracked and gone in several places and the wires were rubbed almost exposing the copper. I put a thick layer of tape on it  perhaps you vinson people should check your wires for damage.
