I painted the bayou and I would not recommend it at all. I bought the fusion paint for plastics and followed the prep instructions exactly. It lasted until i took it out of the shop. The really bad thing is that it will stick on some spots but not others. Now i have two tone fenders. That was the worst mistake I have made yet.

a guy that i ride with painted his bike black. im not sure what paint he used but he mixed it with some sort of product that maked the paint flex and it is holding up great. the only place it is chiping off is outside of the fenders from rubbing up against trees and you have to be close to even tell

Having them dipped is the best way but that can get pretty expensive. Having a body shop spray it and use a flex additive is the next best choice.

they did my wifes and it has held up awesome

I haver had good success with auto paint. I agree the Fusion is junk. You have to sand the plastic for the paint to stick. I have only painted small pieces, not entire fenders as yet, but on dirt bike panels regular can or auto paint holds up great if its prepped right.
