A buddy of mine just bought one for $700 and he is wanting to do some stuff to the bike. He bought it and it didnt have an exhaust on the bike... SO he had a stock pipe off of his honda 450r that he made work for now. I did most of the snorkle work last week.

NOW he wants a pipe and a clutch kit. He has already found a piston and camshaft kit @ high lifter. BUT we have both searched the web and can't find any pipes or clutch kits. Anybody know where we may could look that we have obviously over looked.

with a lil modification a wolverine pipe will work i had a dg and it was a full kit i picked it up for 135 but that was about 5 years ago so goodluck trying to find that deal again i done a quick search and u can still find pipes for them so happy hunting, hl list's a pipe for the big bear supertrapp ids2

Try erlandsonperformance they still carry some clutch kits for these old skool bikes.

Old Skool ('97) Yamaha Kodiyakyak ... thought it was used, turned out to be abused!!
27 in. 589's, ITP type 4 rims, 2 in. lift, snorkeled, DG muffler, K&N, rejetted (115 main), DG bumper, temp gauge, EPI perf. clutch kit, relocated oil cooler & fan, custom front disc brake conversion ... in the middle of a top end rebuild, 85 BBK (10.5:1 CR), 88 grind webcam !! ...never finished ....

i got a cluchkit 4 mine from EPI and modified alittle and made a HMF pipe 4 a 400 BIGBEAR fit on mine

well after staying up all week late working on saidbig bear, i got to ride at copiah creek for a whole 45 minuts maybe before the intake between the carb and head split in half.... but i was pretty impressed with it considering i was cruising 30 inch mudlites......

ha you said you bone that...... but seriously i'm thinking of fixing it with radiator hose to see if it holds better

Thanks for the reply! I checked them out and they have some springs to install in the clutch. Economy and Competition Stall. The only problem I have now is which to get. My issue is that in the mud the clutch seems to slip or just won't get the tires to move and plays stuck. The motor wants to go but the clutch wont grab good enough to get the tires moving. Suggestions??
