the snorkel works perfect but the bike is bogging bad in mud, at full throttle it bogs until you let off then ease into it, i think i am running it really rich, anyone know what size jet i should be running with one 1.5 snorkel and a uni air filter? it has a jet kit in it with a larger jet. i just gotta break it down and see what size it is. i feel like its the jetting bogging me now, videos will be up shortly

check the spark plug. Mine with that setup with the factory jets ran almost 100% perfect.

plug is brand spankin new, here is a video, keep in mind the throttle is 100% down through the whole hole, and when it hits a little firmer ground watch it take off, i have several videos so keep an eye out and help me solve this.

did you have the factory jet or a bigger jet kit, mine has a jet kit for a pipe and filter, but now has the stock pipe on it. also i could see a touch of black smoke meaning lean.

black smoke indicates its rich. come down a bit on the main jet.

isnt like 128 stock?

Mine was stock ans I was rarely completely pinned in a mud hole. thats not good for anything.

and mine would have been 3-wheeling like a bit** in that mud. mne never bogged like that unless I was climbing out of a hole.

haha I knew it was gonna start to dig down. thats like the mud where I rode mine. The Vampires had me going nowhere in a hurry in that bottomless pond mud.

1st of course... I doubt it would move them in 2nd.

On mine with the 27" Vamps if I was in any water deeper than the hub I needed 1st, forget 2nd in any mud.

The 1st gear is what makes large tires possible on these quads.

My friends 2wd would spin my 26" Gators with ease in moderate mud though.

i was in 1rst, i really feel like its the jetting and loading up, because i can let off the throttle and ease into it and spin them better than under full throttle.

here is the rest of the pond video, several more to come in the other shallow pond, please keep watching and help me fix this or i will take the laws off

Nice vids but man easy on the gas in the thick stuff , Spin the tires slow and let the tires do the work not you and just slowly crawl you know what im saying .

Thats a tough one? But it is a stock 300? Put a set of 26 inch mudlites on it and get in the same mud and see what happens?

dont take off the laws man, your probably get to much air or not enough fuel, i had the same problem with my foreman when i snorkeled it, it take time to get the carbuerated bikes to run right after snorkeling them,however, i just kept riding through the same mud hole over and over and adjusting my air screw each time until i got it just right.

ok did a plug test and the plug was BLACK BLACK took the carb down to put a factory jet in 125, and guess what, it had a 125

, unlike i was told. so i cleaned the carb good, not that it needed it and worked on the air mixture screw, it was way way out, like 6 turns out, so i went all the way back in and came 2 and a half back out. already runs better, i know the needle is off a notch or two also, does anyone know the factory notch? oh and the laws are staying on, i will rebuild the engine before i take them off, i really feel like its just a air-fuel problem.

also after i took the carb off a dayum BB fell out of it and fell on the floor, was this suppose to be in it and if so where??? lol

I know what would happen, it would be stuck. LOL

If the current main jet is a 125, that seems just right...

Mabye check and see if the choke isnt getting stuck?
