The front needs exactly 5 oz. of the correct oil. No more or less. If you fill it to the hole, it is way too much. The 4wd system might not work properly with more.
The rear-Fill it to the hole.

If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.

Is this the same for my bike 2007 Sportsman 500? Cause I just filled it till it came out, I haven't ridden it yet though since I changed it.

you bet some thing. some people say the way you filled it works and some people say that it doesn't. i have always went with the 5 oz and never had a problem.

Well this got me wondering so I checked my owners manual Pg. 84 and it states under the heading:
Front Gearcase (Demand Drive) Fluid,

Standard Demand Drive-9oz.(265ml)
Standard Demand Drive with ADC-9.3oz.(275ml)

It also shows a picture of the front hub with a dotted  line across the bottom threads of the fill hole that has a line pointing to it and says "Fill Level", again this is for a 2007 Sportsman 500 other years or sizes may not be the same. HTH.
