Ok I'm going to redo my snorkels but im going to be used spa hose.  I dont want to rejet again so I want to make them the same size as my old one's which are 2in.  But I want to use 1.5in spa hose.  So my question is if I use 2in pvc for my upright pieces that come out of the plastics and then add 2 of the 1.5in spa hoses underneath somewhere would it be the same air flow as 2in the whole way?  I would think that it would because its still only 2in at the top where the air goes in.

Thanks for the help

I ran 2 1.5 inch spa hoses out of my airbox, then ran 1 1.5 inch to the intake and exhaust of the cvt.

WHY ARE YOU RE-DOING YOUR SNORKELS? I HAD A 700 PRAIRIE AND EVERYTHING WAS 2" FROM TOP TO BOTTOM NO REDUCING AT ALL. I DO ALL THE SNORKLING AROUND MY TOWN PRETTY MUCH AND THATS HOW I DO ALL OF THEM. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE WAY THEY RUN. EVEN JETTING THEM.

If you change your snorkel you will not have the same tune. This is because you are changing the way the air flows through the snorkels.

Rejetting is really not that hard. Why the concern?

Also take into mind that the above advice are from ATVs that have bigger motors then yours. 1 1/2 spa hose will work and will flow enough air. You are going to have to rejet either way.

The 750 brutes needs the 2 inch and most of the time the reason why Grizzes needs dual snorkels is because they use extremly small fitting on the air box lid. I tuned an extremly strong Griz using one 1 1/2 snorkel because I used a true 1 1/2 fitting into the air box. Be sure to use 1 1/2 spa flex hose. Do not use the pool hose looking pipe. The smooth pipe flows better

Ok well i found a way to run my air box with 2in pvc still i just had to modify the box a little  and my cvt intake is 2in pvc but the exhaust will have to be 2in pvc to 1.5in spa hose to make it end up where i want it to.
