I have a 2001 chevy z71 4 inch suspension lift, 315 75 16 maxxis buckshots going smaller on tires..  Need to know about nittos pros cons..  Found a set of 285 75 16 for 626 is that good mounted and balanced.

I have them on my truck and no problems, They came with it when i bought it (Used) I would say theres probaly 1/2 tread left on them

They are a very good all terrain tire, and from what I have heard they last alot longer then most A/T tires

I would say thats a decent price.  But If you are willing to spend a little more, go with the BFG allterrain.  It is a little more agressive, will last longer, and not effect gas mileage.  Are you looking at like a 285?

I agree with JRICH the BFG All Terrain T/As are better in just about everyhting. But $155 a tire roughly for those Nittos isn't a bad deal. Another choice that you should think of is the General Grabber AT2, it looks almost identical to the BFG and is cheaper. The Generals also have better siping that helps clean the tire out better, they actually do pretty good in the mud then most AT tires. I had 33x12.50 Grabber AT2s on my Dakota and loved them, I went bigger and wanted a Mud Terrain thats why I don't have them now.

i disagree, with the bfgoodrich being better.  They are a nice tire but the nittos will outperform them in most situations.  Especially in mud, cause the bfgoodrich cake up too easy.  They are both about equal in sand.  On the road they are both about equal until things get wet then i think the nittos stick to the road better.  They both last a very long time.  I beilieve the bfgoodrich are a little better in snow, but since your in arkansas that probally is not your biggest concern.
