I remember seeing on here months ago that Maxxis was coming out with new sizes of the Zilla's. Like a 12 inch wheel version of the 28's and possibly some 30 inch Zilla's. Has anyone heard anything more about this or when they will be out. Like maybe by the first of the year or what?

Thanks for the info. I guess the 30 inch version is either still in the works or the idea got canned.

a local dealer told me about the new 30's as well.........but only for 14" rims............i'm sick of this 14" rim crap.  they guys that have them are limited in choices as well.  but i'm not changing rims just for a tire, good ol mudlites still have the 30 for a 12" rim (thank god)!

but as for the 28's for a 12" rim, GOOD NEWS!! that will definitely be a contender in the light weight 28 class

called a local zilla dealer today........he's got them on order...........they haven't gone into circulation yet, but they are taking dealer orders.

ok that's just what he told me, it's not first hand from maxxis themselves, just a relay from the dealer.

Are they going to be on 12" rims or 14" rims. I hope 14" Because I have to run 14" rims on My Prowler and you need more of a choice for 30" tires on a 14" rim.

It's about time, I have been praying for a 28" Zilla for a 12" rim. This will probably be my next tire...

For those wanting the 28" Zillas in 12" rim size the tread is only 30/32" deep. You can get the 1.2" tread on 28" in the 14 rim only.
