Mine used to run hot as well, I am hesitant to move the rad to the front rack....so this is what I did. I used header wrap that you can get anywhere and wrapped the head pipe to the muffler. Second and I think helped the most was I removed the rad and cleaned it really well, after it was spotless I painted it with engine enamel, this really helps in washing the mud out of the rad...it doesn't stick like before. If you had never removed the overflow bottle you should, the mud packs in there and doesn't allow any air flow. When I put the rad back in I filled it with engine ice. My king NEVER gets hot anymore and cleaning the rad is easy, the mud flushes right out. hope this info helps.

VDI!!! LOL! It does allow the King to run cooler, but not sure if this is the fix for you! As Mark(king quadder) said, do a complete cleaning of the rad. I use Suzuki degreaser, wet down the rad(front & back) spray it down really good(front & back) let it soak for a few minutes then spray out with water hose! If you use a pressure washer, Be very careful not to get too close, you'll bend up the fins real bad!! The you talk about some overheating problems!  Also, try to make some type of rad splash guards, I'm gonna tackle this, I'm looking for some bendable screen/mesh for this application! You can get some ideas from the Nyroc site! Also, to the Suzuki section!  Hope this helps, & good luck                Brandon

Dude all I know is it's not as adjustable/user friendly as the PC3! More in line with the optimizer, but know that some folks still run them. Maybe someone will chime in as to what settings to use! Good luck & later              Brandon
