I do not know how many links are supposed to be in your chain, but being as is it too long, then this is good for you. Start removing 1 link at a time until it is the right length. Remember to back the chain adjustment off as far as it will go everytime. You can remove links from a chain very easily. If you do not have the proper chain link remover, you can use a file or grinder to remove the links. BUT, I do not suggest using a grinder to remove the link from a oring chain. The grinder can build heat and melt orings on adjacent links. Good luck with it. Dezz
