yes sir mine did, and I was worried alos, but it is a quick and simple fix. If it is still partially on, then better, don't rip it off. I simply washed the back of the heat shield and the plastics of the fender, and let dry completly. Then i took some indrustrial spray adhesive, and sprayed the fender and the back of the heat sheild, and pressed it back in to place. next I took some high temp industrial silicone, "RTV", and ran a thin layer over the edges and borders to keep the water and mud from getting between and underneth it again and let in dry. An I did that last summer, and have over 200 mile on it , and a duck hunting season in the marsh, and a very wet deer season in east texas. I will last. after a while, you will notice some of the edges that you might have missed, but it stays in place, and touch up is simple. It took me about 10 mins to complete, and I let it sit for a few hrs, for the silocone to cure. Don't put a big glob on the edges, just run it thin and smoothand make sure it is on both the sheild and plastics, YOu can get all the materials and Lowes or home depot for aboujt $7!
